A Streetcar Named Desire |

Based on the landmark Tennessee Williams play, Karen Russo Burke’s A Streetcar Named Desire was called “A Triumph…” and a “…feat of creativity,” by Dayton Daily News arts critic, Terry Morris, in 2008. Streetcar is a dramatic ballet that highlights dancers acting abilities as well as dance. Sokol’s score adds a warm, lazy New-Orleans feel to the ballet and follows the movement of the choreography to a T. |
