Attire

Proper attire is required for students at the Dayton Ballet School


GIRLS
All female students must wear pink tights and pink ballet shoes

Creative Movement/Pre-Ballet: Pink leotard, NO skirts
Level I: Light Blue leotard, NO skirts
Level II: Navy Blue leotard, NO skirts
Level III: Burgundy leotard, NO skirts
Level IV: Black leotard, NO skirts
Level V/Advanced: ANY solid color leotard
Tap/Jazz: Any solid color leotard/ black or pink tights, jazz shoes and tap shoes with screw-on taps
Modern: Any solid color leotard/footless tights

Hair must be pulled back from the face and secured in a bun, regardless of age

BOYS
Black tights, dance belt, white t-shirt, white socks, white ballet shoes
Tap/Jazz: Jazz pants or shorts, white t-shirt, jazz shoes and tap shoes with screw-on taps
No leg warmers, t-shirts, sweat shorts or pants are permitted in class

ADULTS
Any color leotard, pink tights
Pink ballet shoes
Skirts may be worn
